EAEC plans to introduce a single electronic document management system in customs sphere by 2021
Almaty. March 6. Silkroadnews - Unified system of electronic document circulation in the customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) is scheduled to be introduced until 2021, informs BelTA.
According to the member of the Board (Minister) of the Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Vladimir Goshin, the full realization of the idea to switch to paperless system with a single provision of the information will allow the mechanism of a "single window".
This mechanism is recognized by business entities and government agencies that regulates foreign economic activities, an effective tool for facilitation of foreign trade. The system allows interested parties to receive in real-time range various services, to carry out export, import and transit operations in the course of interaction with government agencies and organizations authorized by Member States.
According to Vladimir Goshin, currently every country of the Union is developing its national "single window". For their closest approach and subsequent reaction at the supranational level prepared an action plan, designed from 2015 to 2020 inclusive. The result of the implementation of the plan will be the transition to full paperless in the commission of a wide range of foreign trade operations, increased transparency and predictability of business processes, improve the quality of public services, improving risk of management and minimization of non-compliance by traders with legal requirements.
Recall, the EAEC includes Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Armenia. This year, the union plans to join Kyrgyzstan.
