EEU states vice premiers agreed on a number of documents for the presidents’ meeting on October 11

Almaty. October 4. Silkroadnews – The EEU states vice premiers agreed on a number of draft documents that will be submitted for consideration by the heads of states on October 11, the Kazakh News Agency (KazTAG) reported referring to the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
“Members of the EEC council agreed a number of draft documents that will be submitted to the heads of states and governments of the Eurasian Economic Union member states,” the report said.
As explained, among the documents approved there are draft decisions of the Eurasian Economic Council to be made on October 11, 2017. “The council meeting agenda includes consideration of a number of issues in the field of trade and transport policies of the union. One of the key topics will be a discussion of the main directions for the EEU digital agenda implementation till 2025,” the information says.
Also, the main directions of the union’s international activities for 2018 will be presented. The presidents will be informed on the progress of the EEU customs code ratification to enter into force on January 1, 2018.
Another issue on the agenda is a cooperation of the EEU member states in the field of space and geo-information services based on national sources of remote sensing data.
Besides, navigation agreement was approved at the EEC council.
