EIA forecasts increase in Brent crude price to $77 a barrel

Almaty. May 19. Silkroadnews – Brent crude oil price will increase to $77 per barrel in 2020, according to the forecasts published in the Annual Energy Outlook of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), Trend reports.

The report forecasts the oil price growth against the background of global supply and demand balance recovery.
After 2020, according to EIA projections, the oil prices continue to rise, as growing demand will lead to the development of more costly resources.

In 2016, EIA predicts, Brent average price to make $37 per barrel.

On Wednesday oil prices demonstrated a weak positive trend.

Price for North Sea Brent Blend for July grew by 0.1% to $49.33 per barrel, the June futures for WTI crude oil increased by 0.39% to $48.5 per barrel.
