Almaty. September 16. Silkroadnews –  Electric vehicles charging station project will be developed in Kazakhstan, KazTAG writes.

«The world is moving away from internal combustion engines toward more fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly energy sources. You know the European Union introduced directives to restrict the production and operation of internal combustion engines cars starting from 2050. This means that, given the car lifetime, the manufacture of such autos will be restrained after 2030, and as a part of this global trend Kazakhstan has already started testing the first electric vehicles, plans to work on building the due infrastructure along with a project on electric vehicles charging stations in Almaty, Astana and on the major highways in the area of these cities at the first stage», Minister for Investment and Development Jenis Kasymbek said at the IV Forum of Kazakhstan Machinery Manufacturers on Friday.
