Embassy of Germany transferred to the library of Semey published in German books of Abay and Muhtar Auezov

Almaty. August 14. Silkroadnews - First Secretary of Embassy of Germany in Kazakhstan, head of the Department of Culture and the press Johnny Kramer handed to akim of Semey Aybek Karimov published in German, books of Abay Kunanbayev and Muhtar Auezov, reports KazTAG.
"Words of edification" and "Abai's Way" was published in the German language in 2010. It was a joint project between Germany and Kazakhstan - "Kazakh library".  Abai is known in Germany since the mid-50s of last century, when his works, including poetry, were first translated into German. They were later reprinted several times. And now, in Germany more literary scholars with great interest study the heritage of Abay ", - said D.Kramer on Thursday at the ceremony of transfer of books to fund of Universal Scientific Library named after Abay in East Kazakhstan region.
In turn, the mayor of Semey Aybek Karimov presented the delegation book editions about the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people.
According to specialist of the department of public relations and media work Gulmira Nugumanova, library to supplement the book fund, applied to 42 countries around the world to provide the library works of Abay in different languages​​. The call of the Embassy was respnded by Azerbaijan, Hungary and Germany, who transferred to the library dedicatory edition in Hungarian, Azerbaijani and German.
