Epidemiological situation of flu in Kyrgyzstan got stabilized – Ministry of Health

Almaty. December 21. Silkroadnews – The epidemiological situation with flu in Kyrgyzstan got stabilized, KyrTAG writes.

“The epidemiological situation of ARVI and flu incidence got stable in the country. December 19 marked a 1.7-times reduction in incidence rate. 8735 calls for medical help with symptoms of ARVI and flu were registered on December 12, on December 19 the number of calls amounted to 5021. Reduction in the burden of disease was observed in Bishkek, Osh and all over the regions of the republic”, the statement by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic says.

It is also noted that the school attendance got stabilized as well. There are only four schools still closed for quarantine: one in Jalal-Abad, one in Talas, and two – in the Issyk-Kul region.

“At present, the epidemic situation is under control, monitoring of disease among the population is carried out on a daily basis along with the sanitary-educational prevention work”, representatives of the Ministry of Health said.
