EU will allocate 97 million euros to the agricultural sector of Tajikistan

Almaty. December 5. Silkroadnews - Next two years, the European Union (EU) will allocate about 97 million euros to Tajikistan for the development of the agricultural sector, reports Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Friday.
"EU Ambassador noted a plan to provide financial assistance to Tajikistan until 2020, according to which the country will be provided by preferential loan funds and grants. This was stated by the new head of the EU Delegation in Tajikistan Ambassador Hidayat Bishchevich at a meeting with Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Kosim Rohbar",- informs the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RT.
According to him, in 2015 the amount of financing of agricultural sector is estimated at 51 million euros, while in 2016 the figure is provided in the amount of 46 million euros.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture RT informed the Ambassador that with the help of international experts laws and regulations of the country are in conformity as a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO)..
According to him, other than that, together with international organizations in 2012 developed and adopted "The program of reform of the agricultural sector of the RT for 2012-2020".
