Every month Kyrgyzstan receives up to 1 billion som from EEU customs duties

Almaty. June 29. Silkroadnews – Every month Kyrgyzstan receives up to 1 billion som of customs duties being the member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), KyrTAG reports.

“The amount has been fixed for three years and now it is hard to project if this volume wil be reconsidered after this period. Currently, the volume of foreign trade turnover declines on the background of global and regional crises,” chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Customs Service (SCS) Azamat Sulaymanov said at the meeting with journalists.

He specified, according to the agreement achieved, Kyrgyzstan receives 1.9% of the total collection of customs duties within the EEU.

The SCS head also noted the splitting of customs duties is carried out on a daily basis according to the mechanism developed by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
