Every year Afghanistan’s state budget is short of several billion dollars in taxes – the Ministry of Finance
Almaty. June 7. Silkroadnews – The state budget of Afghanistan annually misses taxes on $18 billion underpaid by the so-called “average taxpayers”, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
There are about 15 thousand of such taxpayers numbered.
According to the Ministry of Finance, among the tax evaders there are deputies of the National Council, as well as persons close to the government.
“Average taxpayers” mean individuals and legal entities (companies) whose annual turnover or sales volume varies from 5 million to 1 billion Afghani.
