Exports of crude oil from Iran to China in February increased by 13.5%

Almaty. March 25. Silkroadnews - Iran's oil exports to China in February rose by an average of 13.5% compared to the previous month, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Tuesday.
According to the Customs Administration of China, in February of this year, Iran's oil exports to China grew by 13.5% compared to the previous month, reaching an average of 532.2 thousand barrels per day. At the same time, compared to the same period last year, China imported less Iranian oil. Thus, compared with February last year Iran's oil exports declined by 3.7%.
It is expected that in March, China will increase oil imports from Iran and its volume will reach 560 thousand barrels per day. It should be noted that in 2014, China imported an average of just over 550 thousand barrels of Iranian oil per day, which is slightly less than in 2011, when the US unilaterally tightened the embargo on the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, in February, China bought from Saudi Arabia, in average 1.14 million barrels of oil per day, which is about 2% more than in the same period last year, and from Russia - 699.4 thousand barrels, which is less than by 1.5%.
