Extremism- and terrorism-driven crimes increase by 60% in Kazakhstan

Astana. May 5. Silkroadnews – Extremism- and terrorism-driven crime has risen by 60%, as Prosecutor General’s office informs
“Law enforcement bodies have registered 50 extremism- and terrorism-driven crimes within the first quarter of 2014. This signifies a 61.3% increase compared to the corresponding period last year”, as the official message posted on Prosecutor General’s web page states.
It is duly noted that the majority of these crimes are related to the incidents of social, national, tribal, racial and religious incitement of hatred.
