Financial regulators of China will be allowed to invest directly to non-banking sector companies

Almaty. February 2. Silkroadnews – Financial regulators of China will be allowed to invest directly to the non-banking sector companies, the information portal Chinanews informs.
“China is going to launch a pilot project to allow the specific commercial banks to invest directly in the equity of technology companies,” - a statement informed on Tuesday.
It is also noted that a program called “binding mechanism for investments and loans” shall start working this year after the approval of the State Council.
At present according to the law, as it was reported, the banks are prohibited from investing directly into the non-bank institutions.
