Finland will allocate €21 million for Afghanistan

Almaty. August 8. Silkroadnews – The government of Finland will allocate 21 million euro of financial aid to Afghanistan for the projects of reconstruction and development, Afghan news agency (AfTAG) reports.

The funds will be spent during 2016 and 2017 out of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) administered by the World Bank.

In particular, according to the information department of the Embassy of Finland, 25% of the amount shall be directed for the primary education projects, and another quarter shall go to develop the rural communities.
