Folk artists from 7 countries will present their work at the festival "Silk and Spices" in Uzbekistan

Almaty. January 27. Silkroadnews - Bukhara in Uzbekistan from May 28 to June 1, will host an international festival "Silk and Spices", reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"This unique festival for many years organized in Bukhara in order to preserve and promote the national cultural heritage of the nation. This year there will be a demonstration of school works and Bukhara miniature Gijduvon ceramics, coinage of Bukhara masters and crafts, handloom silk fabric, silk carpets, gold embroidery and jewelry",- says the publication.
In addition, it is planned to hold an international scientific-practical conference "Prospects of the tourist center of Bukhara, as part of the Great Silk Road".
The festival will feature master crafts from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, as well as the cities of Uzbekistan - Bukhara, Samarkand, Nukus Margilan Kokand Shakhrisabz, Andijan, Khiva and Rishtan.
