Almaty. September 14. Silkroadnews – For eight months of the year inflation in Tajikistan made 4.5%, TajikTA reports.
«Inflation in Tajikistan's consumer sector amounted to 4.5% for the eight months of this year», the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) informs.
According to the regulator, the inflation rate in August stood at 0.8%. On a year-on-year basis (for the last 12 months) in late August the inflation rate made 6.4%.
To remind, the government of Tajikistan plans to support inflation at 7.5% level as of the end of 2016. Last year the inflation was recorded at 5.1% level.
