For five years Iran intends to raise oil production volume up to 4.6 million barrels per day

Almaty. February 25. Silkroadnews - Within the sixth five-year national development program (2016-2021) the daily oil production in Iran shall reach 4.6 million barrels. This was stated by the Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh, IrTAG reports.
“Increasing rates of oil production is the main purpose of Iran within the framework of the country’s development program. At present the country restores 75% of oil production at 8-9 fields,” – agency quotes the Minister saying.
B. Zanganeh also added in March 2018 the gas production shall reach 1.1 billion cubic meters, and by that time “South Pars” field shall supply about 0.75 billion cubic meters, while the launch of all the stages of “South Pars”, except for the 14th, is scheduled for the end of 2016.
Iran plans to increase the exports of natural gas to Iraq, Pakistan, Oman and other countries - up to 0.2 billion cubic meters per day.
B. Zanganeh noted the revenues from the Iranian petrochemical over the planning period shall grow up to $41 billion a year from the current $18 billion a year.
He also added that as a whole it requires about $50 billion to finance the petrochemical projects Iran, along with about $15 billion necessary to be attracted to repair the country’s refineries.
