Almaty. October 10. Silkroadnews - For Kyrgyzstan, the import of electricity is a way out of the energy crisis. This opinion was expressed by a member of the Public Supervisory Board under the Ministry of Energy and Industry Nikolai Kravtsov.
"In any case, the question of forming a competent tariff policy should be put on the agenda. It should form a right way. Importing electricity - a way out of this situation, and there is no tragedy. Moreover, it is even beneficial at certain stages, at time and at price",- said the expert.
As recalled by the agency, the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev deeply believes that decision of the government to make the shortage of electricity by switching off the industrial enterprises and households from electricity is a big mistake.
Atambayev said that imported electricity will cost much more than their own. "But I'm sure the vast majority of Kyrgyz citizens are willing to pay for imported electricity, than to sit without electric light, heat, TV and other home comforts", - said the president.
