Forcing charity for buisnesmen became banned in Uzbekistan

Almaty. August 18. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan banned forced engagement of businesses to charities and other social activities, reports KazTAG.
In accordance with the published on Monday by government decree, businessmen can provide such assistance only on a voluntary and interested manner. Document approved by the order the use of budgetary institutions from business entities in the form of donations.
In particular, it is envisaged that the heads of state agencies and local authorities, as well as budgetary organizations in accordance with the laws, are responsibile for enforcement of businesses to charity.
Parliamentarians of Uzbekistan y the end of the year are going to prepare amendments to the legislation establishing the administrative and criminal responsibility for the forced involvement of businesses to charities and other activities related to the diversion of funds indicated in the document.
