Foreign companies to register with the Kazakhstani database on a paid basis
Almaty. July 12. Silkroadnews – Registration with the Kazakhstani subsoil users and oil-and-gas service providers’ database will be carried out on a paid basis for foreign companies, KazTAG reports.
“Foreign companies’ registration is to be carried out on a paid basis, as examination and validation of foreign companies’ documents take more time. The registration fee is about 170 thousand tenge,” marketing manager of “Alash” database operating company Bahtygul Bulatkali said at the briefing on Tuesday.
She also added, 237 Kazakhstani companies and 7 foreign companies have already registered with “Alash” database.
The joint supplier database for TCO operators (“Tengizchevroil”), KPO (“Karachaganak Petroleum Operating”) and NCOC (North Caspian Operating Company, Kashagan operator) has been established in the framework of “Aktau declaration on joint actions”, dated September 2012, expressed in “support of the conceptual project of development of local content in Kazakhstan”.
The base has specially been designed for use by large companies-operators of oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan. Using the “Alash” project the large mining companies will get an access to a common base of domestic suppliers of goods, works and services.
