French alliance Tashkent is planned to be opened in 2015

Almaty. November, 18. Silkroadnews - non-profit organizations (NPOs), the French Alliance (Alliance française) Tashkent is planned to be opened in 2015, according to the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
According to the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, the organization will become an important tool for the development of French-Uzbek cooperation in the field of culture and the French language.
Earlier UzTAG reported that the foreign ministers of the two countries signed an intergovernmental agreement on the establishment and activity of the Alliance Francaise Tashkent and on cooperation in the field of health and medical sciences.
It is planned that the new organization will become a kind of alternative to the closed in June 2014 French Institute in Uzbekistan.
Recall that the first French alliance was created in Paris in 1883 at the initiative of such prominent people as Jules Verne and Louis Pasteur.
Today there are more than 800 French Alliance in 137 countries worldwide.
