Full membership of Afghanistan in the SCO is in the interest of the country, experts say

Almaty. May 4. Silkroadnews - For Afghanistan getting full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is responsible to its interests. This was stated by the participants of the expert seminar on the economic outlook in Afghanistan in the SCO framework, said Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
According to the Chamber of Commerce of Afghanistan, obstructions on the way of the country's integration in the SCO can be put not only by Western countries, but also by some members of this regional organization.
In turn, the former Minister of Commerce of the country Mohammad Amin Farhan believes that the integration of Afghanistan in the SCO will make the country attractive to the "key countries in the region", which is important in ensuring security and stability.
Recall now the IRA has observer status in the composition of the SCO, along with Iran, Pakistan, India and Mongolia. A number of member countries of the SCO believes that the new members of the organization must meet its criteria.
