GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan in 2016 is projected at 5.2%

Almaty. December 18. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan's GDP growth in 2016 is projected at 5.2%. This was announced by Finance Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, transmits KyrTAG.
"The volume of nominal GDP in 2016 will amount to 501 billion 582 million 500 thousand soms, and real GDP growth rate at 5.2% will be achieved due to the growth of such sectors as services, construction, agriculture and industry," - said the minister, submitting to Parliament a draft law "On republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2016 and the forecast for 2017-2018 years" on Thursday.
Also, according to him, there are risks that may have an impact on GDP growth in 2016-2018 years. In particular, the volatility of the global economy, changes in world gold prices, the functioning of the economy in terms of accession to the EAEC, rising inflation due to the increase in food prices, the dependence of the domestic market from imports of food products, petroleum and gas as well as natural and climatic a factor that may have a negative impact on the development of agriculture.
