Almaty. December 26. Silkroadnews - German companies have expressed their desire to invest in projects to build solar power plants in Iran, informed IrTAG with reference to the Deputy Minister of Energy of Iran Ismail Mahsuli.
"One company in Germany has proposed to invest up to $1 billion, but agreed to do so in partnership with any Iranian company", - said I.Mahsuli.
He added that his department also received a number of offers from other European companies on other investment projects in Iran's energy sector, especially in the field of renewable energy.
However, commenting on the interest of companies from Germany to Iran's energy sector, the Deputy Minister noted that the implementation of these projects, together with the European business community, to a greater extent will depend on the outcome of the ongoing negotiations between Tehran and the "six" of international mediators on the nuclear program of the country.
According to I.Mahsuli in business circles in Europe there is an increased interest in the major investment projects of Iran, and with the abolition of international economic sanctions against the Islamic republic in Tehran expected influx of foreign investors in the country.
It should be noted that last month Iran and "six" (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) have agreed to develop a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear program to June 30, 2015.
