German companies to help Uzbekistan to optimise wind energy production

Tashkent. June 12. Sillkroadnews – Two German consulting companies (Intec-GOPA and GEO-net) are to help “UzbekEnergo” are to optimise wind energy production, as UzTAG informs.
German companies are also to prepare all the preliminary technical and economic evaluations for the project. It is also to bring the project in line with international standards of the wind energy production and equipment.
The parties are to pick pilot areas, where all the necessary research is to be conducted. According to the preliminary assessments, Wind Energy Park might be installed in Navoyi and Karakalpakstan Provinces.
The total energy production capacity of the park is estimated to be somewhere between 50 and 100 megawatt.
