Almaty. November 18. Silkroadnews - Germany has promised to provide financial assistance to Afghanistan in the amount of 1.2 billion afghanis ($20.8 million) to improve infrastructure and capacity in more than 40 districts, according to Afghan news agency (AfTAG).
According to the German Ambassador to Afghanistan Marcus Pottsel grant is part of Germany to stabilize the situation in the north of Afghanistan. Each district will receive approximately 22 million afghanis ($381 thousand) until the end of 2017.
