Gold enriching factory was commissioned in Iran
Almaty. November 17. Silkroadnews - Biggest Middle East gold enriching factory "Zarshuran" was put into operation in the north-western Iran, reports the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Monday.
The company was opened during a ceremony in the province of West Azerbaijan, which was attended by the First Vice President of Iran Ishaq Jahangiri and other officials of the country.
It is expected that the production capacity of the new plant will be about 3 tons of pure gold, 1.25 tons of silver and 0.5 tons of mercury per year. With the completion in the coming months, the second phase of the modernization of the plant, it will be capable of producing up to 6 tons of gold, 2.5 tons of silver and 1.5 tons of mercury that will enable the country to increase the annual production of gold at least two times.
Gold enriching factory "Zarshuran" is located 35 km from the city Takob near the large field, with estimated reserves of more than 100 tonnes of the yellow metal.
