Goturdepeneft produced 1.7 million tons of oil for the first half of 2015

Almaty. August 10. Silkroadnews - Oil production in the first half of the year at "Goturdepeneft" exceeded 1.7 million tons, which is equal to half of the extracted raw materials at the state concern "Turkmenneft", reports Trend.
According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, the State Concern "Turkmenneft" expanded the geography of exploration and drilling operations, increased the volume of oil and gas production. During the first half of this year it has commissioned 42 wells, of which 34 - for exploration, 8 - for operational purposes.
Particularly distinguished drillers of Goturdepeneft. Over the past six months they have handed 11 productive wells, a significant increase compared with other departments.
Earlier it was reported that the resources of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea are estimated at 12 billion tons of oil and 6.5 trillion cubic meters of gas located at medium and large depths which are exhibited at an international tender.
Currently the state concern operates at three dozen fields, including more than 600 oil and gas fields, at different stages of development.
