Government of Nepal to maintain mutually beneficial relations with both China and India

Beijing. March 20. Silkroadnews - The government of Nepal will maintain a “mutually beneficial” relations with India and China to seek economic benefits from the Asian giants, the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Pradeep Gyawali said, The Times of India reports.
According to Pradeep Gyawali, the government of Nepal has started preparing official visits to the country by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
With this he also noted, the top officials of Nepal are also working to pay visits to foreign countries.
“Prime Minister will make foreign trip soon and we are making necessary preparations to that end. But we have not yet decided from which country he will begin his foreign trip with,” the agency quoted hims saying.
Meanwhile, Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj expressed her confidence that cooperation between India and Nepal will become even stronger during Pradeep Gyawali’s tenure. She also invited the Foreign Minister of Nepal to visit India.
Nepal concluded three phase of provincial, local and parliamentary elections as part of its efforts to implement the new Constitution that was promulgated in September 2015, the report said.
Nepal Prime Minister K P Oli expanded his cabinet and introduced 15 new ministers to the Council of Ministers. The new government convened its first parliamentary session on March 5 after the elections.
