Gross external debt of Kazakhstan in 2014 increased by 4.7% and amounted to $157.06 billion

Almaty. March 31. Silkroadnews - Kazakhstan's gross external debt as for 31 December 2014 amounted to $157 062, 2 million, an increase of 4.76% since the beginning of the year, reported KazTAG citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
In particular, public and publicly guaranteed external debt as for December 31 amounted to $8.6351 million (5.5% of the total external gross debt), compared to the $6.1567 million (4.1%) on 31 December 2013.
Not publicly guaranteed external debt amounted to $148 427.1 million (94.5%), compared to $143 774.5 million (95.9%), respectively.
While the share of intercompany debt in total gross external debt at the reporting date was 50.4% ($79 201.2 million) against 49.3% ($ 73 930.2 million) at the beginning of 2014.
