Ground forces of Iran have received new weapons

Tehran. August 26. Silkroadnews - New types of military equipment and small arms domestic production taken into service of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reports IrTAG.
"New military-industrial complex of Iran, sent to military country, include: self-propelled 155-mm howitzer Huwayzeh, produced on the model of the American model M109A1; armored personnel carrier, developed on the basis of the Russian BTR-82; sniper rifle «Shaher» 14.5mm, which is capable of hitting targets at a distance of 3 km"- says the publication on Tuesday.
As noted, in recent years, Iran has achieved a significant level of self-sufficiency in terms of its armed forces with modern military equipment and weapons of local production. Among the products produced in the Islamic republic, submarines, missiles, planes, tanks, and orbiting satellites.
