Houbara Bustard can now be seen on postal stamps in Uzbekistan

Tashkent. June 6. Silkroadnews - New postal stamp series dedicated to "Fauna. Rare Animals of Uzbekistan" have been issued in Uzbekistan. For example, one of the stamps illustrates a houbara bustard.
The stamps illustrate rare animals that can be found in the Red Book of Rare Animals of Uzbekistan.
The stamps provide Latin names of those animals. For example a houbara bustard is titled as "Chlamydotis undalata", while a bustard is titled as "Tetrax Tetrax"
Uzbekistan issued 10 000 copies of each stamp.
