Housing prices in China remained stable in June
Beijing. Jul 19. Silkroadnews - Housing prices in major cities in China remained stable in June, as local authorities followed measures to curb speculation in the real estate market, Sina.com reports.
In annual terms, prices for new housing in four first-tier cities, including Beijing and Shanghai, remained largely the same as a year ago, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The rise in prices for new homes in 31 second-tier cities increased 0.9 percentage points compared to May, and growth rates in 35 cities of the third level remained the same as in May, according to the NBS, based on a survey conducted across 70 cities.
