Almaty. October 10. Silkroadnews - The next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the CIS will be held on April 3, 2015 in the city of Osh.
"The foreign ministers examined more than 20 projects regulating interstate cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, in the sphere of security and other areas", - said the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, released after a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Minsk on October 9.
It is noted that one of the most important documents in a draft treatment of Heads of CIS countries to the peoples of the CIS member states and the international community is the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Also discussed a draft plan of priority actions in the field of humanitarian cooperation of CIS member states in 2015-2016 years, containing about 200 events of humanities nature, culture, education, science, information and mass communications, publishing, book distribution and publishing, sports, healthy life, tourism, youth work.
Reviewed a draft action plan for 2015-2017 years to implement the development strategy of the cooperation of the CIS member states in the field of tourism for the period up to 2020.
Pointed out that in the field of security at the meeting of the Ministerial Council discussed the activities of the Council of Border Troops Commanders to strengthen border security at the external borders of the CIS member states.
The meeting considered and approved the draft program of cooperation of CIS member states in combating illegal migration for 2015-2019 years.
At the same time, approved the draft concept of cooperation of CIS member states in combating human trafficking.
