In 2017 US sold almost $42 billion in weapons to other countries

Almaty. November 30. Silkroadnews – In 2017 financial year ended on September 2017 the US sold $41.93 billion in weapons to other countries, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to TASS.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) on Wednesday said the amount includes $32.02 billion from foreign military sales, $6.04 billion from the State Department’s foreign military financing and $3.87 billion under the Defense Department,” The Hill wrote.
These numbers, TASS says, show there remains a high demand for US military products and services.
Also, according to the source, the US realize its foreign policy goals and tasks of ensuring national security, selling defensive weapons and providing defense services to other countries, as well as training their military personnel.
