In 2018 Tajikistan to create a regional demining center

Almaty. October 26. Silkroadnews – The regional demining center will be created in Tajikistan in 2018, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Wednesday.

“In 2018there will be independent regional center for demining in Tajikistan ”, the statement said.

Demining Centre will be finalized by 2018 and headed by the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan with the assistance of the authorities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.

By training the individuals how to take care of enemy remnants of war this course is aimed at improving regional security and stability in the country, as the cleared land will be transferred to be used by citizens.

It is noted that scattered over millions of square kilometers the anti-personnel mines and unexploded remnants of war in Central and Southeast Asia still pose a threat to the population of the region.
