"Since 2003, the Afghan National Army has lost at least 6,583 soldiers", - says the publication, citing the Ministry of Defence of the IRA on Tuesday.

Improvised explosive devices (IED), the main factor called for the death of Afghan soldiers. Taliban fighters and other insurgent groups often use them as a weapon to kill Afghan security forces and soldiers of the Western alliance.
According to the security service, a daily average of 4 soldiers killed, and mostly because of the explosions at the IED.
