In January volume of trade between Russia and China grew by 34% to $6.5 billion
Almaty. February 10. Silkroadnews – In January 2017 trade turnover between Russia and China grew by 34%, having reached $6.5 billion on a year-on-year basis, report by China’s General Administration of Customs says, TASS writes.
China’s exports to Russia grew by 29.5% amounting to $3.4 billion, while imports to China increased by 39.3% to $3.1 billion.
Over the past year the volume of exports from China to Russia reached $37.3 billion (a 7.3% growth), and import of Russian goods to China fell by 3.1% down to $32.22 billion.
The report also says, China’s foreign trade volume increased this January compared to January of 2016 by 11.4% and amounted to $314.1 billion.
Exports amounted to $182.7 billion, having increased by 7.9%, and imports exceeded $131.4 billion, which is a 16.7% increase.
At the same time, on January 2017 monthly results China has increased crude oil imports by 27.5% up to 34.03 million tonnes (254,54 mln barrels) on a year-on-year basis.
China’s gas imports in January grew by 11.6% to 5.83 million tonnes (7.98 billion cubic meters).
It is also said that in January China’s cut in oil products imports made 2.2%, i.e. 2.6 million tonnes.
