In Kyrgyzstan, the GDP for 9 months grew by 6.3%
Almaty. October 13. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan's GDP in January-September increased by 6.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 292 billion 889 million soms, reports KyrTAG.
According to a report on the results of the National Statistics Committee of economic development in January-September, excluding enterprises "Kumtor", the GDP volume amounted to 271 billion soms, an increase of 4.3%.
The volume of industrial production for the period totaled to 126 billion 615 million soms, growth by 17.4%. Excluding enterprises "Kumtor" - 69 billion soms.
Growth in industrial production in January-September, achieved by increasing the volume of production of precious metals (39.2%), mining of metal ores (6 times) and petroleum products (by 2.3 times).
Without companies developing deposits of "Kumtor", the volume of production increased by 2%. The limiting factor is the continuing backlog from last year's level in the textile industry (4.1%), clothing (26.6%), electrical equipment (14%), other non-metallic mineral products (8.5%) in power generation, transmission and distribution (7.1%).
