In Kyrgyzstan, the number of unemployed remained at the same level as last year

Almaty. May 13. Silkroadnews - In Kyrgyzstan, the number of registered unemployed men totaled to 92.6 thousand people (the same as last year), reports KyrTAG.
According to authorities, by 1 March of the current year  the population of the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to 5 million 912 thousand man. The economically active population as of January 1, 2014 amounted to 2468,7 thousand people. The employed population as of 1st January, 2014 amounted to 2263 thousand people, the number of unemployed 205.7 thousand people.
In order to create new jobs in the market through the development of small and medium-sized businesses, goverment is granting microcredits for unemployed citizens.
As for May 1, 2015. regional micro-credit agency of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Youth of the Kyrgyz Republic issued 190 microcredits to unemployed citizens. As a result, the unemployed citizens organized sewing shops, producing goods, arts and crafts, mini-mills, trade and public catering, household services (services), companies for car repairs, agriculture (growing cattle, small cattle, agriculture), and others.
