In London, opened Kazakhstan Center of Peace and Reconciliation
Astana. August 27. Silkroadnews - On August 26 London hosted the opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan Center for Peace and Reconciliation, reported KazTAG.
"The opening of the Kazakhstan Center of Peace and Reconciliation will give an additional impetus to the expansion of bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom in the priority sectors of the educational, cultural, political, trade and economic cooperation", - said in a statement on Wednesday.
As noted at the ceremony, one of the activities of the center will read a special course of lectures on the Kazakh model of interethnic tolerance and social harmony from Nazarbayev to UK institutions, promoting the idea of G-global, organization of learning the Kazakh language, joint research, meetings of the creative intelligentsia of two countries, as well as to contribute the translation of works of Kazakh classics into English, etc.
In accordance with the short-term work plan it is expected to hold a workshop on "Inclusive multilingualism", in which will discuss the role of inclusive multilingual societies and minority languages in ensuring social stability. Establishment of an expert panel on the science of sustainability, in which will be discussed the prevention from earthquakes, development and use of advanced technologies in the field of climate change.
Was appointed a board of trustees of Kazakhstan center of peace and harmony.
At the end of the event, participants expressed their mutual belief that the opening of the center will make a significant contribution to strengthening the policy of peace and harmony in the international community.
