In Tajikistan liquidated bandit group of fugitive General Nazarzoda

Almaty. September 17. Silkroadnews - "Public Relations Center of the Interior Ministry and the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan reported that on September 16, 2015 at 2.00 pm was completed anti-terrorist operation to eliminate bandit group of fugitive General Nazarzoda", - said TajikTA.
As a result of search operations the terrorists were blocked in mountains. The attempts to bring them to negotiations  did not give results.
"The terrorists had fierce resistance. As a result, the head of the group Halim Nazarzoda, former Deputy Defense Minister of Tajikistan Eshoni Dzhunaydullo Umarov  and 10 their accomplices were killed", - the report indicates.
During clashes with the terrorist group were also killed the commander of the anti-terrorist unit "Alfa" SCNS RT Colonel Rustam Holalievich Amakiev, and three members of OMON and "Alpha" of the State Committee of National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon expressed his deep condolences to the families and friends of law enforcement and security forces that were killed in the raid. He instructed the heads of corresponding structures to provide comprehensive assistance to families of the dead employees.
Rakhmon expressed his gratitude to all the personnel of the law enforcement and security agencies, as well as all citizens, who actively cooperated with law enforcement and security agencies in tracking down terrorists.
