In Tajikistan the local fishery products cost twice the price of imported

Almaty. November 3. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan, the local fishery products cost twice as expensive as imported fish, transmits the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Monday.
"Despite the increase in the fish catch, the price of the domestic fish production is 40% higher than the imported counterpart. Currently, the price for one kilogram of local fish is 26-30 Somoni ($ 5-6), while the retail value of imported fishery products in the country is 17 Somoni ($3-4) per kilogram, despite transportation and other expenses"- said the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan.
