In Tajikistan, the US dollar rate will determine the credit organizations

Almaty. October 26. Silkroadnews - In Tajikistan from October 26, the rate of the sales of US dollar will determine the credit institutions, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA).
"The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) reports the change of exchange rate policy based on stabilization of the situation on the currency market. According to the order of the NBT, from October 26, the sales rate will be determined by credit institutions", - said in a statement on Saturday.
As explained, lenders will determine the course of the sales of the US dollar, given the state of the internal market, the aims and objectives of monetary policy in the framework of normative and legal acts of the NBT.
In turn, the NBT will provide daily monitoring of the foreign exchange market and supervise the activities of banking institutions engaged in foreign exchange transactions.
In case of revealing the facts of speculation and groundless overvaluation of foreign currency, the National Bank jointly with law enforcement authorities will take appropriate action against offenders.
So far, the dollar on the foreign exchange market was regulated by NBT.
The official dollar rate set by the NBT, is 6,56-6,58 Somoni for $ 1, but in the exchange offices it is bought and sold at the rate of 6,8-6,85 somoni.
