In the ranks of the Islamic State there are nearly 300 Tajiks - Attorney General

Almaty. June 5. Silkroadnews - in the ranks of the terrorist organization "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) there are about 300 Tajiks. This was announced by Attorney General Yusuf Rakhmonov, during the meeting with activists of Isfara, Asht and Kanibadam areas.
At the meeting, the head of the Prosecutor General's Office has discussed with the heads of districts and areas the prevention of crime, in particular, a plan of action to prevent the recruitment of youth in various terrorist and extremist organizations, such as the "IG" in the ranks of which, thousands of kilometers away from their homeland, killed Tajik citizens.
As noted, the ranks of the ISIL included 99 residents of Sogd region, including 40 residents of the city and district of Isfara. Today is known about the 60 Tajik citizens who were killed in the fighting in Syria and Iraq.
