Industrial production in China will increase 6% in 2016

Almaty. February25. Silkroadnews - As a result of 2016 the industrial production in China will increase by 6%, said China’s Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei, Russian mass-media write.
“In general the slowing trends still remain for the Chinese economy. Compared to other sectors the situation is the most difficult for the industrial sector. The root cause of problems among the industrial companies is a decrease in demand in the foreign markets and the slowdown in inflow of investments,” - said Miao Wei.
According to him, there is a slowdown in the economic activities observed in the traditional sectors of the Chinese industry.
Yet, the minister also stated, it is important to note that “as a whole a long-term positive trend remains unchanged for the Chinese economy”. He added at present the telecommunications industry, including Internet-based technologies, is one of the most rapidly developing sectors.
The Chinese government pays great attention to the development of both the Internet and e-commerce.
For the recent years there is a slowdown in rate of growth observed in the Chinese industry. In 2011, the production volume of the large enterprises of China grew by 13.9%, in 2012 - by 10%, and in 2013 - by 9.7%. By the end of 2016 the industrial production growth of China made 8.3% only, though in 2015 index increased by 6.1%.
