Inflation in China accelerated in November to 1.5%, the fall in producer prices continued

Almaty. December 9. Silkroadnews - Consumer price in China slowed in November, while the drop in producer prices continued at the end of the 45th month in a row, informed the newspaper "Vedomosti".
Consumer inflation (index CPI) last month, amounted to 1.5% on an annualized basis compared to 1.3% in October, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China. Analysts forecast a rise in prices by 1.4%.
Acceleration was due to a rise in price of food products (by 2.3%) and services (by 2.1%). In addition, the decline has slowed down the cost of imported goods.
Producer prices (index PPI) in November fell by 5.9% for the fourth month in a row. Economists had expected a more significant downturn - by 6%.
Mining sector products became cheaper by19.9%, and other producers of raw materials by 10.7%.
