Inflation in Kyrgyzstan in January-July made up 5%

Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews- Inflation in Kyrgyzstan in January-July amounted to 5% by December 2013, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Decline in consumer prices and tariffs in July this year compared with the previous month led to a slowdown in inflation, which from the beginning of the year in the whole country made up 5%.
In July 2014 in addition to lower prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.7% compared to June), there was some reduction of tariffs for services (0.1%).
Decline in consumer prices and tariffs in July was observed in all regions, except Issyk-Kul region (an increase of 0.7% compared to the previous month).
The highest increase in prices and tariffs from the beginning of the year (9.4%) also was registered in the Issyk-Kul region, due mainly maximum growth (16.1%), the price of food and non-alcoholic beverages in comparison with other regions .
