Inflation in the CU and CES in August was 0.3%

Almaty. September 15. Silkroadnews - Inflation in the Member States of the Customs Union (CU) and the Common Economic Space (CES) in August 2014 compared to the previous month was 0.3% by December 2013 - 5.9% in annual terms - 8 3%, indicates the report of the statistics department of the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC).
"In August 2014 compared with August 2013, the prices of goods and services in the whole CU and CES rose by 8.3%. Per month (compared to July), the increase in prices and tariffs in the whole in CU and CES was 0.3%",- said in a statement on the website of the EEC.
As specified in August 2014 compared to August 2013 "in Belarus highest growth rate were prices for tariffs for paid services (37.4%), in Kazakhstan - non-food products (8.1%). In Russia, foodstuffs increased in price by 10.3%, non-food - by 5.5% and paid services - by 6.7%".
