Integrated development of the power sector will reduce harmful emissions into the environment, the president Tajikistan

Almaty. September 29. Silkroadnews - Pesident of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in New York, spoke about energy projects in the country, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
"In Tajikistan, began construction of small, medium and large hydropower plants, including the implementation of projects of regional importance. Translated into practical work the use of solar and wind energy", - said Rahmon, speaking at a high-level forum of developing countries in New York.
Head of RT stressed that the development of priority sectors such as transport and energy may have a multifaceted impact on the economy of Tajikistan.
"Integrated development of hydropower and other power industry makes it possible to stabilize and increase the efficiency of the energy system and reduce harmful emissions into the environment",- said Rahmon.
According to him, Tajikistan generates its energy capacity on the basis of reliable integrated development of renewable energy sources.
He also stressed that developed projects, taking into account the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development of the energy sector - find their practical implementation.
The President expressed confidence that the implementation of the action plan of decade with its six priority regions, which was adopted by UN General Assembly, will facilitate the restructuring of the Tajik economy and strengthen its infrastructure, as well as the promotion of regional co-operation "in the integration way".
