Internal conflict in eastern Afghanistan resulted in deaths and injuries of 23 policemen

Almaty. November 28. Silkroadnews - A conflict between two police forces in the eastern province of Paktika on Sunday resulted in losses suffered by both groups, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
The incident occurred on the territory of Sharana city, province’s administrative center. Initially it started as a conflict between two commanders, though later turned into a firefight between the detachments, during which at least three policemen were killed. Around 20 policemen were injured, Tolo channel reported referring to anonymous source.
The official authorities have not commented on the incident.
